Love for othersObedience

4 Jeg ble glad over å oppdage at noen av dine barn lever i sannheten, slik som vi har fått befaling om av Faderen.

5 Nå ber jeg deg, frue, ikke som om jeg skrev et nytt bud til deg, men det som vi har hatt fra begynnelsen, at vi skal elske hverandre.

Og dette er kjærligheten, at vi lever etter hans bud. Dette er budet, slik som dere har hørt fra begynnelsen, at dere skal vandre i det.

7 For mange forførere har gått ut i verden, de som ikke erkjenner Jesus Kristus som kommet i kjød. En slik person er forføreren og antikrist.

8 Vokt dere, så dere ikke mister det vi har oppnådd, men at dere kan få full lønn.
