1 Budskapet som Jesaja, sønn av Amos, mottok om Juda og Jerusalem.

2 I de siste dager skal Herrens hus' fjell bli grunnfestet som det høyeste blant fjellene; det skal heves over høydene, og alle nasjoner skal strømme til det.

Mange folk skal komme og si: "Kom, la oss gå opp til Herrens fjell, til Jakobs Guds hus. Han skal lære oss sine veier, så vi kan vandre på hans stier." For fra Sion skal loven gå ut, og Herrens ord fra Jerusalem.

4 Han skal dømme mellom nasjonene og megle for mange folk. De skal smi sine sverd om til plogskjær og sine spyd til vingårdskniver. Nasjon skal ikke løfte sverd mot nasjon, og de skal ikke lenger lære å føre krig.

5 Kom, Jakobs hus, la oss vandre i Herrens lys.
