Bønn Tjeneste Veiledning og vanskelige valg Lovsang og tilbedelse

¹⁷ David instruerte alle lederne i Israel om å hjelpe sin sønn Salomo og sa,

¹⁸ "Er ikke Herren deres Gud med dere?
Og har han ikke gitt dere hvile på alle kanter?
For han har overgitt landets innbyggere i min hånd,
og landet er underlagt Herren og hans folk.

Sett nå deres hjerte og deres sjel til å søke Herren deres Gud.
Reis dere, og bygg helligdommen for Herren Gud,
så dere kan bringe Herrens paktsark
og de hellige gjenstandene til Gud inn i huset som skal bygges for Herrens navn."
