Praise and worshipGratitude

2 Da David hadde fullført ofringen av brennoffer og fredsoffer,
velsignet han folket i Herrens navn.

3 Han delte ut til alle i Israel, både mann og kvinne,
til hver en brødkake, en porsjon kjøtt og en rosinkake.

Han utnevnte noen av levittene som tjenere foran Herrens ark,
for å feire, takke og prise Herren, Israels Gud:

5 Asaf som leder,
og nest etter ham Sakarja, så Je'iel, Sjemiramot, Jehiel, Mattitja, Eliab, Benaja og Obed-Edom,
og Je'iel med harper og lyrer;
Asaf spilte på høytlydende cymbaler,

6 og Benaja og Jahasiel prestene blåste i trompeter kontinuerlig foran Guds paktsark.
