Guds makt og styring

13 Herren tordnet også i himlene,
Og Den Høyeste hevet sin røst,
Hagl og ildkull.

14 Han sendte ut sine piler og spredte dem,
Og rikelige lynblink, og forvirret dem.

Da ble vannets kanaler sett,
Og verdens grunnvoller ble lagt bare
Ved din trussel, Herre,
Ved pusten fra dine nesebor.

16 Han rakte ned fra det høye, han grep meg;
Han dro meg opp av dype vann.

17 Han reddet meg fra min mektige fiende,
Og fra dem som hatet meg, for de var for sterke for meg.
