48 Nå hadde forræderen gitt dem et tegn, og sagt, “Den jeg kysser, han er mannen; arrester ham.”

49 Straks gikk Judas opp til Jesus og sa, “Vær hilset, Rabbi!” og kysset ham.

Jesus sa til ham, “Venn, gjør det du er kommet for.” Da kom de og la hendene på Jesus og arresterte ham.

51 Og se, en av dem som var med Jesus rakte ut hånden, dro sitt sverd, og slo øversteprestens tjener og hogg av øret hans.

52 Da sa Jesus til ham, “Sett sverdet ditt tilbake på plass; for alle som griper til sverd, skal falle for sverd.
