1 David samlet igjen alle de utvalgte mennene i Israel, tretti tusen.

Og David sto opp og dro med alt folket som var med ham til Baale-Juda, for å hente opp derfra Guds ark, som er kalt ved Navnet, navnet til hærskarenes Herre, som troner over kjerubene.

3 Og de satte Guds ark på en ny vogn, og førte den fra Abinadabs hus, som var på høyden; og Ussa og Ahjo, Abinadabs sønner, ledet den nye vognen.

4 Slik transporterte de Guds ark fra Abinadabs hus, som var på høyden, med Ahjo som gikk foran arken.
