59 Da Gud hørte dem, ble Han fylt med vrede
Og Han forkastet Israel fullstendig;

60 Så Han forlot boligen i Silo,
Teltet Han hadde reist blant mennesker,

Og ga sin styrke i fangenskap,
Og sin herlighet i fiendens hånd.

62 Han overga også sitt folk til sverdet,
Og ble fylt med vrede mot sin arv.

63 Ild fortærte Hans unge menn,
Og Hans jomfruer hadde ingen bryllupssanger.
