23 Men Han fortsatte, “Dere er fra den jordiske verden; Jeg er fra oven. Dere tilhører denne verden; Jeg tilhører ikke denne verden.

24 Jeg sa til dere at dere vil dø i deres synder; for hvis dere ikke tror at Jeg er Han, vil dere virkelig dø i deres synder.”

“Hvem er Du?” spurte de. “Jeg er akkurat den Jeg har sagt dere fra begynnelsen,” svarte Jesus.

26 “Jeg har mye å si i dom over dere. Men Han som sendte Meg er troverdig, og det Jeg har hørt fra Ham, forteller Jeg verden.”

27 De forsto ikke at Han talte til dem om Sin Far.
