Esra 8,35

33 På den fjerde dagen, i vår Guds hus, veide vi opp sølvet, gullet og de hellige artiklene i hendene til Meremot, sønn av Uria, presten. Eleasar, sønn av Pinhas, var med ham, og det var også levittene Josabad, sønn av Jesjua, og Noadja, sønn av Binnui.

34 Alt ble verifisert etter antall og vekt, og hele vekten ble registrert på den tiden.

Så ofret de hjemvendte fra fangenskapet brennoffer til Israels Gud: tolv okser for hele Israel, nittiseks værer, syttisju værer, og tolv geitebukker som syndoffer. Alt dette var et brennoffer til Herren.

36 De overleverte også kongens ordre til kongens satraper og guvernørene i provinsene bortenfor Eufrat, som deretter støttet folket og Guds hus.
