32 "Ikke aksepter en løsepenger for noen som har flyktet til en tilfluktsby, slik at de kan vende tilbake og bo på sitt eget land før døden til ypperstepresten.

33 "Ikke forurens landet hvor dere bor. Blodsutgytelse forurenser landet, og ingen soning kan gjøres for landet hvor blod har blitt utgytt, unntatt ved blodet til den som utgytte det.

Ikke forurens landet hvor dere bor, hvor også jeg bor, for jeg, Herren, bor blant israelittene.'"
