14 Som en ild som fortærer skogen,
Og som en flamme som antenner fjellene,

15 Så jag dem med din storm,
Og skrem dem med din uvær.

Dekk deres ansikter med skam,
Slik at de kan søke ditt navn, Herre.

17 Måtte de bli evig skamfulle og forvirrede,
Og måtte de bli vanæret og forsvinne,

18 Slik at de vil erkjenne at du alene, hvis navn er Herren,
Er den Høyeste over hele jorden.
