10 De holdt ikke Guds pakt
Og nektet å følge Hans lov;

11 De glemte Hans gjerninger
Og de under Han hadde vist dem.

Han utførte undere for deres forfedre
I Egyptens land, på markene i Soan.

13 Han delte havet og førte dem gjennom,
Og Han fikk vannet til å stå som en vegg.

14 Så ledet Han dem med skyen om dagen,
Og hele natten med et lys av ild.
