16 Vannene så Deg, Gud;
Vannene så Deg og var i angst;
Havdypene skalv også.

17 Skyene strømmet ut vann;
Himmelen bruste;
Dine piler fór frem og tilbake.

Lyden av Din torden var i virvelvinden;
Lynet opplyste verden;
Jorden skalv og rystet.

19 Din vei var gjennom havet,
Og Din sti gjennom de mektige vannene,
Og Dine fotspor var usett.

20 Du ledet Ditt folk som en flokk
Ved hånden til Moses og Aron.
