37 Akt på den uskyldige, se på den rettskafne;
En framtid venter dem som søker fred.

38 Men alle som synder skal bli ødelagt;
Det skal ikke være noen framtid for de ugudelige.

De rettferdiges frelse kommer fra Herren;
Han er deres styrke i trengselens tid.

40 Herren hjelper dem og redder dem;
Han redder dem fra de ugudelige og frelser dem,
Fordi de søker tilflukt hos ham.
