1 Jeg vil opphøye Deg, Herre, for Du har løftet meg opp,
Og har ikke latt mine fiender glede seg over meg.

2 Å Herre min Gud,
Jeg ropte til Deg om hjelp, og Du helbredet meg.

Herre, Du har løftet min sjel opp fra Sheol;
Du har bevart mitt liv, så jeg ikke skulle gå ned i graven.

4 Lovsyng Herren, dere Hans trofaste,
Og gi takk ved omtalen av Hans hellighet.

5 For Hans vrede varer bare et øyeblikk,
Hans nåde varer hele livet;
Gråt kan vare hele natten,
Men glede bryter frem om morgenen.
