Salmene 138,8

God's loveGod's will and callingGod's faithfulnessGuidance and decisions

6 For Herren er opphøyet,
Likevel ser han til de lave,
Men de stolte kjenner han på avstand.

7 Selv om jeg vandrer midt i trengsel, vil du gi meg liv;
Du vil rekke ut din hånd mot mine fienders vrede,
Og din høyre hånd vil frelse meg.

Herren vil fullføre sin hensikt med meg;
Din miskunn, Herre, er evigvarende;
Forlat ikke dine henders verk.
