For dine dommer er gode.

40 Se, jeg lengter etter dine påbud;
Forny meg ved din rettferdighet.

Må din nåde også komme til meg, Herre,
Din frelse etter ditt ord;

42 Så jeg kan svare den som håner meg,
For jeg stoler på ditt ord.

43 Ta ikke sannhetens ord helt bort fra min munn,
For jeg venter på dine dommer.
