2 Hans etterkommere vil være innflytelsesrike på jorden;
De oppriktiges slekt vil bli favorisert.

3 Velstand og rikdom bor i hans hus,
Og hans rettferdighet varer evig.

Lys bryter frem i mørket for de oppriktige;
Han er nådig, medfølende og rettferdig.

5 Det går godt for en person som er generøs og låner ut;
Han vil opprettholde sin sak i dommen.

6 For han vil forbli urokkelig;
De rettferdige vil bli husket for alltid.
