21 Da sa Rut moabittinnen: «Han sa til meg også: ‘Hold deg nær mine tjenere til de har fullført hele min innhøsting.’»
22 Og Noomi sa til Rut, sin svigerdatter: «Det er godt, min datter, at du går ut med hans unge kvinner, så du ikke blir skadet på en annen mark.»
Så holdt Rut seg nær de unge kvinnene til Boas for å sanke til slutten av bygg- og hvetehøsten. Og hun bodde med sin svigermor.
