7 En later som han er rik og har ingenting; en annen later som han er fattig og har stor rikdom.

8 En persons rikdom kan løskjøpe deres liv, men de fattige hører ingen trussel.

De rettferdiges lys skinner klart, men de ondes lampe skal slukkes.

10 Stolthet fører til strid, men visdom finnes hos dem som tar imot råd.

11 Urettmessig tilegnet rikdom minker, men den som samler litt etter litt øker den.
