26 Nyheten om dette spredte seg over hele den regionen.

27 Da Jesus forlot stedet, fulgte to blinde menn etter ham og ropte: "Ha barmhjertighet med oss, Davids sønn!"

Da han hadde gått innendørs, kom de blinde mennene til ham, og han spurte dem: "Tror dere at jeg er i stand til å gjøre dette?" De svarte: "Ja, Herre."

29 Så rørte han ved øynene deres og sa: "La det skje for dere i henhold til deres tro";

30 og deres syn ble gjenopprettet. Jesus advarte dem strengt: "Se til at ingen får vite om dette."
