Markus 9,28

26 Ånden skrek, kastet ham voldsomt, og dro ut. Gutten så ut som en død, så mange sa: «Han er død.»

27 Men Jesus tok ham ved hånden, reiste ham opp, og han sto opp.

Da Jesus hadde gått innendørs, spurte disiplene ham privat: «Hvorfor kunne ikke vi drive den ut?»

29 Han svarte: «Denne sorten kan bare komme ut ved bønn.»

30 De dro derfra og gikk gjennom Galilea, og Jesus ville ikke at noen skulle vite det.
