Gethsemane
Prayer

30 "Sannelig sier jeg deg," svarte Jesus, "i dag—ja, i natt—før hanen galer to ganger, vil du fornekte meg tre ganger."

31 Men Peter insisterte kraftig: "Selv om jeg må dø med deg, vil jeg aldri fornekte deg." Og alle de andre sa det samme.

De kom til et sted som heter Getsemane, og Jesus ga disiplene sine beskjed: "Sett dere her mens jeg ber."

33 Han tok med seg Peter, Jakob og Johannes, og han begynte å føle seg dypt bedrøvet og urolig.

34 "Min sjel er dypt bedrøvet, til døden," sa han til dem. "Bli her og våk."
