Johannes 6,28

26 Jesus svarte: "Sannelig, sannelig, jeg sier dere, dere leter etter meg ikke fordi dere så tegnene, men fordi dere spiste brødene og ble mette.

27 Arbeid ikke for den mat som forgår, men for den mat som varer til evig liv, som Menneskesønnen vil gi dere. For på ham har Gud Faderen satt sitt segl."

Da spurte de ham: "Hva må vi gjøre for å utføre de gjerninger Gud krever?"

29 Jesus svarte: "Guds gjerning er å tro på den han har sendt."

30 Så spurte de ham: "Hvilket tegn vil du gi, så vi kan se det og tro deg? Hva vil du gjøre?
