Johannes 5,16

Jesus

14 Senere fant Jesus ham i templet og sa: "Se, du er blitt frisk igjen. Slutt å synde, ellers kan noe verre hende deg."

15 Mannen gikk bort og informerte de jødiske lederne om at det var Jesus som hadde gjort ham frisk.

Av denne grunn begynte de jødiske lederne å forfølge Jesus, fordi han gjorde disse tingene på sabbaten.

17 Men Jesus svarte dem: "Min Far arbeider inntil nå, og jeg arbeider også."

18 Av denne grunn søkte de enda mer å drepe ham, fordi han ikke bare brøt sabbaten, men også kalte Gud sin egen Far, og gjorde seg selv lik Gud.
