10 da jeg satte grenser for det
og satte bommer og dører,

11 da jeg sa: ‘Hit skal du komme, men ikke lenger;
her skal dine stolte bølger stanse’?

«Har du noen gang befalt morgenen
eller vist morgenrøden dens plass,

13 så den kunne gripe fatt i jordens kanter
og riste de onde ut av den?

14 Jorden tar form som leire under et segl;
dens trekk trer fram som et klesplagg.
