Hosea 12,7

5 Det vil si, Herren, hærskarenes Gud,
Herren er hans navn.

6 Så vend tilbake til din Gud,
Bevar kjærlighet og rett,
Og vent stadig på din Gud.

En kjøpmann, som bruker falske vekter,
Gleder seg over å bedra.

8 Og Efraim sa: “Jeg har sannelig blitt rik,
Jeg har funnet velstand for meg selv;
I all min møye vil de ikke finne i meg
Noe galt, som ville være synd.”

9 Men jeg har vært Herren din Gud siden landet Egypt;
Jeg vil la deg bo i telt igjen,
Som på de dager da høytiden var fastsatt.

This was said to Israel at a particular time, so it is wise to read it together with the surrounding text. Do read the surrounding verses too, because the context often says more than a single verse.
