Etter at opprøret hadde lagt seg, kalte Paulus disiplene til seg, og etter å ha oppmuntret dem, tok han farvel og dro til Makedonia.

2 Han reiste gjennom de områdene, og ga mye oppmuntring til folket, og kom til slutt til Hellas.

3 Han ble der i tre måneder. Men da det ble lagt en plan mot ham av jødene mens han skulle seile til Syria, bestemte han seg for å reise tilbake gjennom Makedonia.
