Apostlenes gjerninger 13,29

27 Folkene i Jerusalem og deres ledere gjenkjente ikke Jesus, men i å dømme Ham, oppfylte de profetenes ord som blir lest hver sabbat.

28 Selv om de ikke fant noen grunn til en dødsdom, ba de Pilatus om å få Ham henrettet.

Da de hadde fullført alt som var skrevet om Ham, tok de Ham ned fra korset og la Ham i en grav.

30 Men Gud reiste Ham opp fra de døde

31 og i mange dager viste Han seg for dem som hadde fulgt Ham fra Galilea til Jerusalem. De er nå Hans vitner for vårt folk.
