The Holy Spirit

1 I min tidligere beretning, Teofilus, dokumenterte jeg alt som Jesus begynte å gjøre og lære,

frem til den dagen han ble tatt opp til himmelen, etter å ha gitt instruksjoner gjennom Den Hellige Ånd til apostlene han hadde utvalgt.

3 Etter hans lidelse, viste han seg levende for dem med mange overbevisende bevis, og viste seg over en periode på førti dager og talte om Guds rike.

4 En gang, mens han samlet dem sammen, instruerte han dem om ikke å forlate Jerusalem, men å vente på løftet fra Faderen, "som," sa han, "dere har hørt meg tale om;
