Israel

26 Pagiel, Okrans sønn, ledet avdelingen til Asjers stamme,

27 Ahira, Enans sønn, ledet avdelingen til Naftalis stamme.

Dette var marsjrekkefølgen for de israelittiske avdelingene da de brøt opp.

29 Moses sa til Hobab, sønn av Reuel midjanitten, Moses' svigerfar: "Vi drar til det stedet som Herren har lovet å gi oss. Kom med oss, så vil vi behandle deg vel, for Herren har lovet gode ting til Israel."

30 Han svarte: "Jeg vil ikke dra; jeg vender tilbake til mitt eget land og mitt eget folk."
