Israel

4 De laget skulderstykker til efoden, som ble festet ved dens to øvre hjørner.

5 Det kunstferdig vevde beltet til efoden var av samme håndverk og materialer: gull, fiolett, purpurrødt og skarlagenrødt garn, og fint tvunnet lin, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

De satte onykssteinene i gullfiligransinnfatninger, gravert som et segl med navnene på Israels sønner.

7 Disse ble plassert på skulderstykkene til efoden som minnesmerker for Israels sønner, slik Herren hadde befalt Moses.

8 Bryststykket ble laget av en dyktig broderer, som efoden, av gull, og av fiolett, purpurrødt og skarlagenrødt garn, og fint tvunnet lin.
