1. Krønikebok 16,1

David
De brakte Guds ark og satte den inne i teltet David hadde forberedt for den,
og de frembar brennoffer og fredsoffer for Gud.

2 Da David hadde fullført ofringen av brennoffer og fredsoffer,
velsignet han folket i Herrens navn.

3 Han delte ut til alle i Israel, både mann og kvinne,
til hver en brødkake, en porsjon kjøtt og en rosinkake.
