13 Vær våkne, stå faste i troen, vær modige, vær sterke.

14 Sørg for at alt dere gjør, gjøres i kjærlighet.

Nå oppfordrer jeg dere, brødre og søstre: dere kjenner Stefanas' husstand, at de er førstegrøden av Akaia, og at de har viet seg til tjenesten for de hellige,

16 At dere også underordner dere slike mennesker og alle som hjelper til i arbeidet og strever.

17 Jeg er glad for ankomsten av Stefanas, Fortunatus og Akaikus, fordi de har supplert det som manglet fra deres side.
