Jojada

24 Tal til Sjemaja, Nehelamitten, og si,

25 Dette er hva Hærskarenes Herre, Israels Gud, sier: “Fordi du har sendt brev i ditt eget navn til hele folket i Jerusalem, til presten Sefanja, sønn av Maaseja, og til alle prestene, og sagt,

‘Herren har gjort deg til prest i stedet for Jojada, til å være tilsynsmann i Herrens hus, for å sette enhver gal mann som profeterer i stokken og halsjernet.

27 Så hvorfor har du ikke irettesatt Jeremia fra Anatot, som later som han er en profet blant dere?

28 For han har sendt denne meldingen til oss i Babylon: “Eksilet vil bli langt; bygg hus og bo i dem, og plant hager og spis deres frukt.”’”
