2. Mosebok 37,10

8 En kjerub var plassert ved den ene enden og den andre kjeruben ved den motsatte enden; han laget kjerubene av ett stykke med soningslokket ved de to endene.

9 Kjerubene hadde vingene sine utstrakt oppover, og dekket soningslokket med dem. De vendte mot hverandre, med ansiktene mot lokket.

Han laget bordet av akasietre, to alen langt, en alen bredt og en og en halv alen høyt.

11 Han kledde det med rent gull og laget en gullkant rundt det.

12 Han laget også en kant til det, en håndsbredd bred, og satte en gullkant på kanten rundt omkring.
