19 Du skal ta med deg inn i arken to av hver slags levende skapning, hann og hunn, for å holde dem i live med deg.

20 Av fuglene etter deres slag, av dyrene etter deres slag, og av hver skapning som beveger seg på bakken etter sitt slag, to av hver slags skal komme til deg for å holdes i live.

Du skal ta med deg all slags mat som skal spises og lagre det som proviant for deg og for dem.”
