Doubt

8 Hold oss ikke ansvarlige for våre forfedres synder;
La din medfølelse raskt møte oss,
For vi har blitt svært nedbrutt.

9 Hjelp oss, Gud for vår frelse, for ditt navns ære;
Og fri oss og tilgi våre synder for ditt navns skyld.

Hvorfor skulle folkene si: "Hvor er deres Gud?"
La gjengjeldelsen for blodet av dine tjenere som er utøst
Bli kjent blant folkene for våre øyne.

11 La klagen fra fangen komme foran deg;
I henhold til din makts storhet, la dem som er bestemt til å dø bli spart.

12 Og gi våre naboer syvfold tilbake i deres fang
Deres hån som de har hånet deg med, Herre.
