2 "Når jeg velger det rette øyeblikket,
Er det jeg som dømmer med rettferdighet.

3 Jorden og alle som bor på den skjelver;
Det er jeg som har fastsatt dens pilarer.

Jeg sa til de skrytende: 'Avstå fra å skryte,'
Og til de ugudelige: 'Løft ikke ditt horn;

5 Løft ikke ditt horn høyt,
Snakk ikke med arrogant stolthet.'"

6 For opphøyelse kommer ikke fra øst, heller ikke fra vest,
Heller ikke fra ørkenen;
