28 Da sa Jesus til henne: "Kvinne, din tro er stor! Din bønn er innvilget." Og hennes datter ble helbredet i det øyeblikket.

29 Jesus dro derfra og reiste langs Galileasjøen. Så gikk han opp på en fjellside og satte seg ned.

Store folkemengder kom til ham, og de brakte med seg lamme, blinde, krøplinger, stumme og mange andre, og la dem ved hans føtter; og han helbredet dem.

31 Folkene ble forundret da de så de stumme tale, krøplingene bli friske, de lamme gå, og de blinde se. Og de priste Israels Gud.

32 Jesus kalte disiplene sine til seg og sa: "Jeg har medfølelse med disse menneskene; de har allerede vært med meg i tre dager og har ingenting å spise. Jeg vil ikke sende dem bort sultne, for de kan bli utmattet på veien."
