Jesus

31 De drøftet dette seg imellom og sa: «Hvis vi sier: ‘Fra himmelen,’ vil han spørre: ‘Hvorfor trodde dere da ikke på ham?’

32 Men hvis vi sier: ‘Av menneskelig opprinnelse’…” De var redde for folket, for alle var overbevist om at Johannes virkelig var en profet.

Så de svarte Jesus: «Vi vet ikke.» Og Jesus sa: «Da vil heller ikke jeg fortelle dere med hvilken myndighet jeg gjør disse tingene.»
