10 Straks han steg opp av vannet, så han himmelen åpne seg og Ånden komme ned over ham som en due.
11 Og en røst kom fra himmelen: “Du er min elskede Sønn; i deg har jeg velbehag.”
Straks drev Ånden ham ut i ødemarken,
13 og han var i ødemarken i førti dager og ble fristet av Satan. Han var blant de ville dyrene, og englene tjente ham.
14 Etter at Johannes var blitt arrestert, dro Jesus til Galilea og forkynte Guds evangelium.
