Lukas 23,54

52 Han gikk til Pilatus og ba om Jesu kropp.

53 Så tok han den ned, svøpte den i linklær og la den i en grav hugget ut i fjellet, en som aldri hadde vært brukt.

Det var forberedelsesdagen, og sabbaten nærmet seg.

55 Kvinnene som hadde fulgt Jesus fra Galilea fulgte etter Josef og så graven og hvordan hans kropp ble lagt i den.

56 Så vendte de hjem og forberedte krydder og salver. Men de hvilte på sabbaten i samsvar med budet.
