Lukas 23,13

Pontius

11 Herodes, med sine soldater, behandlet ham med forakt og hånet ham. De kledde ham i en praktfull kappe og sendte ham tilbake til Pilatus.

12 Den dagen ble Herodes og Pilatus venner; tidligere hadde de vært fiender.

Pilatus samlet overprestene, lederne og folket,

14 og sa: «Dere har brakt denne mannen til meg som en som oppvigler folket til opprør. Jeg har undersøkt ham i deres nærvær og har ikke funnet noen grunnlag for deres anklager mot ham.

15 Heller ikke Herodes, for han sendte ham tilbake til oss; som dere ser, har han ikke gjort noe som fortjener døden.
