Lukas 19,3

Jesus

1 Jesus kom inn i Jeriko og fortsatte på sin vei gjennom byen.

2 Der var det en mann ved navn Sakkeus; han var en overtoller og var rik.

Han forsøkte å se hvem Jesus var, men han kunne ikke på grunn av folkemengden, for han var liten av vekst.

4 Så han løp i forveien og klatret opp i et morbærtre for å se ham, siden Jesus var på vei forbi der.

5 Da Jesus kom til stedet, så han opp og sa: “Sakkeus, skynd deg og kom ned, for i dag må jeg bli i ditt hus.”
