24 Moses ga en arv til Gad stamme, til Gads sønner, etter deres familier.

25 Deres område inkluderte Jaser og byene i Gilead, og halve landet til Ammons sønner, som strekker seg til Aroer, som er overfor Rabba;

og fra Hesjbon strekker seg til Ramot-Mispe og Betonim, og fra Mahanaim til grensen av Debir;

27 og i dalen, Bet-Haram, Bet-Nimra, Sukkot og Safon, den gjenværende delen av riket til Sihon, kongen av Hesjbon, med Jordan som en grense, som strekker seg til den nedre enden av Kinneretsjøen bortenfor Jordan mot øst.
