17 gikk om bord i en båt, og satte kursen over sjøen til Kapernaum. Det var allerede mørkt, og Jesus hadde ennå ikke kommet til dem.

18 Sjøen ble urolig på grunn av en sterk vind.

Da de hadde rodd omkring tre eller fire mil, så de Jesus gå på sjøen og nærme seg båten, og de ble redde.

20 Men han beroliget dem: "Det er meg; vær ikke redde."

21 Da tok de ham imot i båten, og straks nådde båten land der de var på vei.
