Habakkuk 3,7

5 Plage gikk foran Ham,
og pest fulgte Hans skritt.

6 Han sto, og jorden ristet;
Han så, og nasjonene skalv.
De evige fjell ble knust,
de eldgamle høyder sank sammen.
Hans stier er evige.

Jeg så teltene til Kusjan i nød,
og teltgardinene til Midjan skalv.

8 Var Herren sint på elvene?
Var Din vrede mot bekkene?
Raste Du mot havet
da Du red på Dine hester
og Dine frelsesvogner?

9 Du avdekket Din bue,
og kalte på mange piler.
Sela Du kløvde jorden med elver.

This was said to Israel at a particular time, so it is wise to read it together with the surrounding text. Do read the surrounding verses too, because the context often says more than a single verse.
