Esra 6,18

MosesJerusalem

16 Da feiret israelittene—prestene, levittene og resten av de bortførte—innvielsen av Guds hus med glede.

17 Til innvielsen av dette Guds hus ofret de hundre okser, to hundre værer, fire hundre lam, og som syndoffer for hele Israel, tolv geitebukker, tilsvarende antallet av Israels stammer.

De utnevnte prestene i deres avdelinger og levittene i deres grupper til tjenesten for Gud i Jerusalem, slik det er skrevet i Moseboken.

19 På den fjortende dagen i den første måneden, feiret de bortførte påsken.

20 Prestene og levittene hadde renset seg sammen; alle var seremonielt rene. Levittene slaktet påskelammet for alle de bortførte, for deres brødre prestene, og for seg selv.
